Course Description: This course develops essential professional skills and attitudes in the office support role. These skills cover basic office procedures; including processing mail, developing public relations skills, arranging meetings and domestic travel, calendaring, and identifying acceptable workplace behaviors. You will recieve a certification certificate and course credit upon successful completion of the course materials.
Attendance: This class allows participants to learn at their own pace, but to be most effective, we suggest that you schedule 30 - 60 minutes each day to read and review course materials until you have completed the materials.
Assignments: You are provided with 12 modules of learning material in this class, which will require approximately four weeks to fully learn and complete. Some modules will require more/less time but we’ll use three modules per week as a guide. An elearning component provides the framework for the course, augmented by reading and activity learning aides aligned to each module.
Your class facilitator will monitor your progress, provide you with reports, send motivational reminders as necessary, and be available for answering course related questions.
